The federal trade commission for consumers offers great resources for picking the right school to fit your needs. This includes guidance for making sure your institution is accredited as well as guidance for school fees and more.

higher-ed.org offers a list of trade schools in each state as well as the specializations offered per institution. While I'm sure the list isn't exhaustive, its a great way to introduce yourself to the world of trade schools.
